BMW 2.5 / 2.8 / 3.0 Bavaria x 2 WEBER 38 DGAS carburettor conversion.

Kit uses 2 x genuine Weber 38 DGAS automatic choke carburettors to replace the original Zenith INAT carburettors.

This BMW weber kit is part number 2268062400-38 and it suits 2.5 2.8 & 3.0L 6-cylinder models and is a performance upgrade over the 2268062400 32/36 DGAV kit.

If yours is a standard specification engine, then the 2268062400 WEBER 32/36 DGAV kit will be perfect.
But if you want to do any tuning for higher performance, go for this 38 DGAS kit. You will have to work out the optimal jetting in your own time.

Please note that there are two different heights of air filter adapter used.
The main photo shows the tall ones used when replacing Solex carburettors, but there is also a shorter one needed when replacing the Zenith carburettors.

The two types are shown below – please advise which type you want.
This will affect how well your original BMW air filter housing will mount onto the new weber carburettors.
